I have lived in the Pueblo area for 10 years. I am originally from Alamosa, Colorado. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, a minor in Reading, and a Teaching License- all from CSU in Pueblo. In 1996, I received my Masters in Reading and Language with an emphasis in Curriculum from Lesley University in Boston, MA.
I taught for 3 years as a 5th grade teacher near the border of Kansas/Colorado in the small town of Granada, CO. I also taught for 6 years in Rocky Ford, CO. where I worked with students in 4th grade and at-risk students in 3rd-5th grade. I have been a part of the Vineland Middle School staff for 10 years, teaching both Reading and Writing/Grammar.
Joshua got married on September 15, 2008!!! I am very fortunate to have a wonderful daughter-in-law, Caitlin.
